Have I forgotten something?

I love this picture. It reminds me the good ol' times when I was traveling across Europe with my buddy, Gabe. The snap was taken exactly a year ago, during our one week voyage across the lands of the Vikings. Emma was so happy to see us that she kept us busy the whole time, knowing how easily-bored we used to be. I shall take the opportunity to thank Emma for all the care and time she took out of her schedule for us. It was such an awesome time in a magical land where hotdogs have smashed potato on it, and kebaps are pizzas and pizzas are kebaps. Looking at this picture, it called my attention the fact that it doesn’t look that I’m as cold as in other pictures I have from Denmark and Sweden. I also look little bit lost and maybe a little concern about something. Perhaps it was the fact that at that point in my life I had so many challenges lying ahead; coming back to my place after many years abroad, and restart my academic studies.

Today, a year later, I wish I could come back and tell myself that everything is going to work out. How easy is to say how easy the task was, after you have accomplished it. However not many are the ones who show boldness before perform a difficult task that has been appointed. Well, it is true that at the end of the day, the only failure is to quit, and I guess fear is not that bad unless it makes you stop from what you are doing. Nevertheless, I know I get nothing by worrying. I’ve always thought that worrying is like a rocking chair; it gives you some entertainment but it doesn't take you anywhere.
